Unlike past generations, we are a people consumed with planning and preparation.  We purchase planners, we have our calendar on our smart phone, we meet with financial planners, we plan for our retirement and even for our death.  But, are we planning for eternity.

How foolish it would be of me to not speak to you about this most important subject.  100 years from now, the only planning that will matter is our plans for eternity.    When we close our eyes in death, we will awaken with Christ in heaven or in hell with our sins.

Why don't you take a moment to make plans for eternity- settle it today.  I can help you

Know that God loves you! - I don't care what you have done in your life, if you are breathing you are not beyond receiving salvation

We have all sinned: `Romans 3:10 says "There is none righteous, no not one."

Romans 3:23 says:  "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" - Here we see that we have all sinned and when we stand before God, we will not be judged up against the sins of our other friends, family or co-workers.  The yardstick will be our Holy, sinless Savior.  (You see the dillema we now find ourselves in!!!  But it is good news from here!!)

Jesus Christ paid our sin debt.  Romans 5:8 says:  God demonstrated His love toward us that while we will still in our sins, Jesus Christ died for us.

Sin pays wages (eternity in hell). Salvation is a gift (eternal life with Christ) and we must receive it and unpack it-   Romans 6:23 says "The wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Jesus came to earth with one mission.  Jesus died on the cross, was buried and 3 days later He rose from the grave so that we could be saved and spend eternity with Him in heaven.

God won't force you to spend eternity with Him.  However, know that when you reject Jesus, you, by default, allign yourself with the devil and his angels.  If you aren't for me, you're against me.  We will all stand before God one day and He will honor or choice.

How to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior - Romans 10:9-10,13

1.  Admit to God that you are a sinner.  Repent (turn away) from your sin and ask for His forgiveness

2.  Place your faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  There is not enough good works you can do, money you can give or good deeds you can perform that can save you. (Ephesians 2:8-9)- only the blood sacrafice of Jesus Christ as He hung on the cross.p

3.  Ask Him to save you and come into your life.  He will do that immediately upon your asking

There are no "magic" words or "magic" prayer.  It just needs to come from a sincere heart.

If you have done that, I would love to rejoice with you!  Why not send me a message and let me know!
